The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Land and Forest Codes re maintenance of security zones of electricity transmission facilities

Bill (Reg. No. 2512) suggests the following version of article 76 of the Land Code: “Under legislation, security zones are established along cable power lines and overhead transmission lines, as well as around transformer substations, distributing points and devices”.

Adoption of the bill will decrease (prevent) damage caused by emergency outage of electricity transmission facilities.
